Together, let's lead the way in providing seamless, high-quality care to patients when they need it most.Position Summary:Equum Medical is seeking a Virtual-Safety Specialist (working onsite out of our Brentwood, TN office) to provide virtual observation of selected patients, identifying potentially hazardous behaviors in alignment with facility policies and procedures. As the responsible observer, you will also play a vital role in educating and onboarding other virtual safety specialists, ensuring a cohesive and vigilant team. Working collaboratively with licensed nurses and Patient Care Technicians, you will maintain patient safety, deliver basic patient care, and promptly intervene when necessary to prevent any risks to patient well-being. Effective communication and adherence to institutional and hospital policies will be essential in this critical role.Key Responsibilities:Demonstrates understanding and proficiency of "solutions software."Monitors up to 16 patients continuously on one screen, remaining alert while on dutyEffectively communicates with patients using a microphone and headsetResponds promptly to patient behavior changes and communicates effectively with hospital staffDemonstrates discretion and courtesy when working with patients, visitors, and staffNavigates technology, patient monitoring platform, and system requirements with ease.Requirements:Possesses strong communication skills, effectively using a microphone and headset with patients.Skillful in navigating technology, patient monitoring platform, and system requirements during patient monitoringKnowledge and Skills:Familiar with basic Microsoft Windows operations and skilled in simple data entryPreferred prior clinical experience and hospital backgroundEducation:High school graduate or G.E.D.Certification preferred (Nurse Assistant/Medical Assistant, nursing student, other allied health)In addition to an hourly or base salary, this position could be eligible for 401k, continuing education, and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements).
