• End Date/Duration: 7/10 to 7/11 (short-term coverage)
• Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (days)
• Hours/week: 20 hours (approximate for the two days)
• Employment Type: Contract/Travel
• License/Certs: Active Physician Assistant license
• Experience: ICU, pre and post-cardiac surgery, OR experience preferred (vein harvesting strongly preferred)

What You’ll Do

• Rounding in ICU, pre- and post-cardiac surgery units
• Managing patients coming off ventilators
• Caring for patients emerging from open-heart, VATS, and lung surgeries
• Assisting with vein harvesting and other OR procedures (preferred)
• Monitoring and ensuring patient stability during critical phases
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver excellent patient care

What You Need
Required:

• Active Physician Assistant license in Texas
• ICU and intraoperative experience
• Ability to work 7a-7p for the specified dates

Preferred:

• OR experience, especially with vein harvesting
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
